It’s Sunday, which means I’m back with another erratic list of things I like. So far, I seem to be falling into themes: food, poetry, memes. This week is no different.
From ‘grandma’s potatoes’ (not my grandma) to musings on writing. It’s all happening!
Cabbage!
Stay with me on this one. The fruit and veg shortage has got me preaching about eating seasonally…again. As a lifelong vegetarian who spent a lot of their childhood in the countryside, eating largely self-sufficiently, I know my veg. Sure, tomatoes don’t taste as good in the UK as they do in Greece, but you know what we does taste amazing here? Leafy greens! In winter!
Cabbages, spring greens and cavolo nero should be on a heavy rotation this time of year. Here’s a favourite recipe of mine, to get you inspired:
